Love is a flower
that unfolds in the heart,
and showers its fragrance
on each living part.
Its fragrance so sweet
when given a chance,
will nurture the soul
and true love enhance.
It then will reach out
to touch everyone;
like petals when seeking
the warmth of the sun.
With countenance bright
as it steadily grows,
blooming forever
like the perennial rose.
The flower of love
with petals unfurled,
will then spread its beauty
all over the world.
Like the seedling that gives
the flower its start,
so it is with the love
